When you visit the Safety1stNZ website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by phone. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Returns and Exchanges
We realize that occasionally an order might be placed in error or in rare instances you might receive a defective or damaged product. Our aim is to treat our customers as we ourselves expect to be treated. In order to provide efficient and rapid return service, Please follow these 2 easy steps.
1: Inspect your order upon receipt and immediately notify us in the event of any problem. All returns and / or exchanges must be made within 10 days of your receipt of shipment. You can call us on (03) 9296575
2: Include a copy of the original invoice and a note detailing any defect or the reason for the return. Please note that products that have been opened or unwrapped are non-returnable unless defective, in which case it may be returned for replacement of the same product.
All returns and exchanges will be processed within 10 days of receipt of your shipment.
All defective merchandise must be received and inspected by us before we can ship you a new one.
Products must be returned in original package with all documentation as received.
Shipping is non-refundable.
We are not responsible for damaged returns or items lost in transit. We urge you to insure your return shipment against loss or damage.
Disputes and Refunds
You must submit any claims or disputes you may have with respect to any charge to your account in writing to Safety1stNZ within 60 days from the time said charge was made; otherwise any claim or dispute with regard to said charge will be waived and the respective charge will be final and not subject to challenge. In the event of any default by you to make payment, you will be responsible for all reasonable expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and costs) incurred by Safety1stNZ in collecting moneys owned.
To cancel an order made by mistake or change of mind. Please contact us on (03) 9296575 immediately during our regular business hours. We are not responsible for all changes relating to unconfirmed cancellations through e-mail, or voice messages. We’ll try our best to cancel your orders if made by mistake. No cancellations will be made once the package is shipped.
The regular business hours of Safety1stNZ are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 A.M. to 12 P.M. Saturday,(New Zealand time).
Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays will not be processed for shipment until the next business day.
We offer 1-2 day courier shipping within New Zealand on all orders.
We can provide expedited delivery service such as Next Day Courier at an additional charge.
We will gladly exchange any damaged or defective products. Inspect the merchandise upon receipt and notify us immediately in the event of any problem.
All Merchandise shipped to customers will be sent by courier, unless the Customer pays for the additional cost for faster service.
We accept orders within New Zealand only at this stage.
Get Your Gear Quickly and Efficiently
Safety1stNZ will ship anywhere in New Zealand. All orders will be delivered by our freight partner Courier Post.
We aim to have orders dispatched in 1-2 working days, but they may take longer during periods where a high volume of orders are received.
If your order does not arrive within this timeframe, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For us to help you quickly, please include your order ID number in any correspondence.
Freight charges on any goods you order from us are as follows:
North Island orders incur a freight charge of $9.90+gst per order for all orders under $250.00 +gst.
South Island orders incur a freight charge of $6.50+gst per order for all orders under $250.00+gst.
North Island Rural orders incur a freight charge of $14.90+gst per order for all orders under $250.00+.gst.
South Island Rural orders incur a freight charge of $12.90+gst per order for all orders under $250.00+gst.
All orders over $250.00+gst will be eligible for FREE DELIVERY.
Order With Confidence
After you place your online order, you will be asked for payment, you can do this via a trading account, credit card or direct payment.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and exclude GST @ 15%. We will try to maintain the price as advertised but we reserve the right to change before you place an order. Product prices in the shopping cart exclude delivery charges. The courier costs are automatically calculated on a zone system, based on the size of your order and include GST.
Under normal conditions products are available for immediate shipment.
In the rare instances, back orders will be placed.
If items are back ordered we will do our best to give you an accurate ETA within 1-2days. If you wish to cancel the item(s) back ordered or exchange them for something else, please call us on 03 9296575 with your order number so we can assist you further.
Lost, Delayed or Damaged Packages
We are not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged shipments unless you notify us within 15 days. Notify us immediately if your order has been damaged in transit so we can file a claim within the required timeframe.
Safety1stNZ and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible in describing a product or service. However, Safety1stNZ does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Safety1stNZ itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it within 24 hours of purchase.
To give added value of our expertise and experience we have provided hyperlinks to websites maintained or controlled by others. We are not responsible for the contents of, use of, or any of the products or services offered in these sites.
